I worked with Mareez to create this PSA alerting everyone about the various environmental issues caused by the MTA system. While I focused on the LIRR in my paper, Mareez focused on the subway system, and when we combined our ideas for this PSA, we found some overlapping issues. Safety, both physical and health-based, is a sustainability issue that Governor Hochul fails to address in both the LIRR and the subway system, leading to further issues as they worsen over time.
